Successful Start 2023

Dear Students,

We invite you to participate in the educational program “Successful Start”, which is scheduled to begin on September 29, 2023.

Successful Start is an educational program by the European Business Association designed for university students in their 3rd–5th years. It was first launched in September 2014 and is held every autumn.

Registration is open via the link until September 27, 2023.

Program Goal: To provide students with the opportunity to attend lectures for free with some of the best speakers in Ukraine and to develop their soft skills.

Program Format:

• Start date: September 29, 2023
• Duration: 5 weeks
• Number of sessions: 10
• Session length: 1.5 hours (start time 18:00, except for the first module – 16:45)
• Location: Online via ZOOM (links will be sent to the email provided during registration before each module)
• Language: Ukrainian

Topics and Speakers:

• Self-expression and self-presentation: Oleksandr Zaioma – Lecturer in public speaking and speechwriter, working with top Ukrainian and international companies.
• Sales and Negotiation – what’s the difference?: Yuriy Bas – Business Development Director at ITBIZ, business trainer, sales and negotiation expert, theater and film actor.
• Brainhacking in the era of neural networks: Viktor Rublyov – Brain and personal effectiveness coach, author of the “BRAINHACKER” project, Development Director at Business Radio, producer of the radio show “MOTIV”, one of the top 3 corporate trainers in Ukraine.
• Personality Typology: Olena Petrushkevych – Consultant psychologist, expert at the MriyDiy school network, 25 years of combined experience in consulting and business training.
• Critical Thinking as part of resilience and mental health support: Illia Bachurin – Social and organizational psychologist, co-founder of Product IT Foundation for Education, mental health consultant and business trainer in over 50 companies in Ukraine and worldwide.
• Digital Marketing: Serhiy Bratusev – Head of Branding, Google Ukraine.
• Employment Law: Valeria Bezpala – Partner in the Labor and Employment practice at Vasyl Kisil & Partners, expert in labor law and employment disputes, board member of the EBA HR Committee, member of the Labor Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
• Crisis Communication: Vitaliy Maksymov – Journalist and communicator with 20 years of experience, PR Director at the German publishing house “Ekonomika” (newspaper “Delo”, “Investgazeta”, magazine MMR), PR advisor to the Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and members of parliament.
• Financial Literacy: Mykhailo Patsan – Investor, entrepreneur, expert in international financial markets and cryptocurrencies, financial advisor, WEB3 developer, founder of the Web3 university “Learn to Earn Global” and blockchain protocol “Amsets”.
• Recovery, Resourcefulness, and Resilience during War: Yevhen Piletsky – Psychologist, cognitive-behavioral therapist, PhD in Philosophy, Associate Professor.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive a certificate of completion and to publish their resume on the EBA website.

Requirements: Active participation in the program and achieving over 80% correct answers on the post-program test.
