30/ 08/ 2019
Yesterday, at the first meeting, the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation appointed new ministers to the government of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov and Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka. Anna Derevyanko. the Executive Director of the European Business Association. Congratulations to the newly formed team of the Government, the Parliament, law enforcement authorities with the appointment. From the start business waits for active work and decisive action. Clearly, the ongoing structural reforms in the country are worth pursuing, especially those pertaining to the establishment of fair justice and equal rules of the game. So, good luck in the work, inspiration and determination to make sometimes even unpopular decisions. More than 60 draft laws were submitted by the President for primary consideration by the Parliament. Currently, the business community has not yet seen the texts of the documents, however, in the list are those draft laws that are conceptually supported by the business. At the same time, the key priorities of the business have long been unchanged - the necessity to fight corruption, reform of the judiciary and law enforcement authorities, active launch of the economy, increase of the countrys export potential, digitization, further harmonization of the countrys legislation with EU norms, stimulation and development of human resources, etc. The proposals have already been submitted to the Parliament, so, business call to pay attention to them in order to launch the process of effective reforms in the country.
