Online-communication has become a core part of business interaction. However, it is in the digital environment where misunderstandings, irritation, and loss of time occur most often. How can you choose the right communication channel, respect your interlocutor’s time, and use every interaction to strengthen trust and working relationships? During the lecture, we will discuss simple rules of digital etiquette that help make online communication clear, comfortable, and effective.  EBA Management Development Centre Team, together with Anna Chaplyhina, invite you to take part in the Online-Lecture: Digital Etiquette: How Not to Annoy People Online.  Target audience: anyone involved in digital communication or interested in exploring this topic.  Questions for discussion:  How to choose a communication channel: when to write an email, when a messenger is appropriate, and when a call is better.  Business boundaries online: working hours, response time, and expectations.  Greetings, addressing, and closing messages: what is appropriate in different communication channels.  How to structure business emails so that they are read and responded to.  The difference between business and work correspondence: messengers.  Emotions in business correspondence: emojis, reactions, attracting attention, and inappropriate language.  Phone calls in the era of messengers: when they are justified and how to make them properly.  Registration is obligatory.
