The European Business Association invites you to participate in a round table organized jointly with the BESU, UBC, ACC and EEP on the topic: “Cooperation between the Renewed BES and Compliant Business – First Six Months”, which will take place on 27 February 2026 at 15:00 in a hybrid format.   Issues for discussion: Results of the first six months of work of the renewed BES – de-shadowing efforts and interaction with compliant business New concept for minimizing “business splitting” schemes What are the largest shadow economy schemes within the mandate of the BES to address? What is the dynamics of changes in these schemes? In which sectors are tax minimization schemes most prevalent? What are the estimated volumes of such schemes in excisable goods, construction, sales of equipment/electronics, and grocery retail? Business assessments Analytical work model and risk-based approach of the BES, in-depth sectoral analysis, interaction with the State Tax Service, data sets Current status of re-certification competitions, recruitment of new employees, and the existing staffing gap   Please note that prior registration is required, and only registered participants will be notified of any possible changes to the schedule.
