EBA Management Development Centre team together with Irina Patlakh invite you to participate in in the Business Game: Nexus Zoo (authors – Mark Noneman and Don McGreal).

You will have everything (or almost everything😊): a role, goals, a team, limited resources and, of course, challenges.

Will you be able to see more than the obvious?
Will you resist peer pressure, information noise, cognitive biases, logical fallacies and emotional perception of information?
And most importantly, how will you make decisions?

Target audience:

• for anyone who wants to better understand how your thinking works in complex situations;
• for anyone interested in developing analytical skills, critical thinking, and seeking more informed decisions in life or work;
• for anyone looking for answers to the questions: “How can we better distinguish between facts and assumptions?”, “Why are we sometimes led to manipulations, even when we know about them?”, “How can we see the bigger picture and make informed decisions?”

What you’ll explore in the game:

• situations that provoke bias – anchor effect, framing, confirmation of expectations, false causal relationships
• limited resources and excess data – a space in which you need to quickly navigate, check data and avoid distortions of information
• the opportunity to train argumentation and critical thinking – through real negotiations and explanations of your decisions
• a safe environment for mistakes and reflection – the opportunity to see your ways of thinking in action, not in your own imagination😊
