Dear colleagues, We would like to invite you to EBA GetinTouch meeting for HRDs, planned for Friday, 17 September, from 10:00 until 12:00, office EBA. The topic of the meeting: Managing and Engaging Remote Employees. The ongoing pandemic has radically altered the way that we manage people.  We had basically ‘figured out’ how to manage people in a face-to-face work environment but now we are being faced with managing and engaging people in a remote work space!  On top of this we are likely going to be facing a hybrid model of both face-to-face and remote work which may lead itself to yet another view on managing and engaging employees.  In this workshop we will look at managing and engaging remote employees and what we need to do to adapt what we do both within HR and the managerial levels.  Issues to be Discussed: What we know about how people wanted to be managed and engaged with What are the different ways that we can adapt out management and engagement styles to the new pandemic reality What are the hybrid models of work that we need to consider going forward What do we need to do to get ourselves (HR) and managers / supervisors up to speed on new ways to manage and engage employees Outcome:  participants will gain a clearer understanding of to manage and engage remote employees as well as possible hybrid models. Language of the meeting: English Target Audience: Human Resource Directors/Human Resource Senior Managers Rules of registration: online registration is obligatory.  Number of participants: up to 25 Guest Speaker: Prof. LESLIE T. SZAMOSI. Prof. Szamosi is a Professor and the Director of the Executive MBA programme at CITY College University of York Europe Campus.  He has been an EMBA Unit Leader for Understanding Organisational Behaviour course while participating in two other units (Leading & Managing People and Research Methods). He is an accreditor and a panel chair for the International Faculty of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and is a regular evaluator and assessor of European Union funded projects.
