As early as 1921 the first medical company was established in Brno and began to develop successful production of health care equipment. In 1953 this company was incorporated into the Chirana concern associating the medical equipment producers in the previous Czechoslovakia. Nowadays BMT Medical Technology s.r.o., a member o MMM Group (Germany), has passed through a dynamic development and is an incorporated company with foreign participation. The main shareholder is MMM M”unchener Medizin Mechanik GmbH from Germany – the leading manufacturer in the field of sterilisation and disinfection. We assure production, sales, consultancy and service of the following medical and pharmaceutical products: heat cabinets; laboratory drying ovens; laboratory incubators; cooling incubators; CO2 incubators; hot-air sterilizers; small, middle and large steam sterilizers; washer-disinfector; steam generators and disinfection chamber for mattress. About 80% of our production is exported worldwide, partly through MMM Group, partly through own business activities. BMT Medical Technology s.r.o. has its head quarter in Brno with about 500 employees. For the sale support new subsidiaries were founded, as in Moscow and Novosibirsk (Russia), Piestany (Slovakia), Krakow (Poland), Kyiv (Ukraine), Madrid (Spain), Woodinvill (USA) and majority shareholding in the company MMM Medcenter (Germany) was obtained. The obtained certificates are an inseparable part of our successful development and export to world markets. Beside the basic certificates EN ISO 9001:2000, EN ISO 13485:2003 (production quality system for medical technology) we obtained all necessary certificates for the production of pressure chambers of steam sterilizers for CZ, EU countries, Poland, Swiss etc. The ASME certificate entitles us to deliver pressure chambers to the USA as well. The steam sterilizers destined for the sale in the EU countries are certified by T”UV Cert. from Munich and are entitled to use the mark CE0123. Our devices comply with the requirements of appropriate standards and were tested successfully for the sale to many countries throughout the world. • certification of quality management system • certification of pressure vessel production In order to meet the requirements of our customers and the legislation on the products delivered to the market in EU and other countries, we underwent the process of certification both of the quality management system and of the pressure vessel production. The obtained certificates, technical parameters and quality of products enable the successful sale in our country, Europe, Asia, Africa, the South America, in EU countries, in the USA and in China.
