Incorrect response to such requests can lead not only to the loss of confidential data, but also to the initiation of searches and have other legal consequences.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">EBA Management Development Team, together with <strong>Grain Law Firm, <\/strong>invites you to the <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><strong>O<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><strong>nline-Lecture: Request and ruling for temporary access: how businesses should respond to protect themselves.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the lecture is to analyze the legal algorithms of actions of managers, accountants and lawyers of companies in case of receiving requests, court decisions, as well as to determine the limits of the powers of investigative bodies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target audience<\/strong>: business owners, security specialists and compliance managers, financial directors (CFOs), chief accountants, heads of legal departments, in-house lawyers, attorneys.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"s4\">Questions for discussion:<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The main means by which the investigation tries to gain access to your belongings, documents and information.<\/li>\n<li>How to respond to an investigator in the event of receiving a request to retrieve documents and information (in particular information that may constitute a commercial secret)?<\/li>\n<li>On what grounds can you refuse to issue documents and information at the investigator&#8217;s request?<\/li>\n<li>Step-by-step instructions on how to behave when you are approached with a decision of an investigating judge or court on temporary access (seizure of things, documents, information by the investigation).<\/li>\n<li>To which things and documents is temporary access prohibited, and which contain a secret protected by law? What to do if documents or things have already been seized?
