The European Business Association\u2019s Dairy Committee held a meeting to discuss current issues facing the dairy sector, including legislative updates. In particular, the participants discussed draft orders of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, including \u2018On Amendments to Order No. 801 of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine dated 19 January 2026\u2019<\/a>, concerning the Requirements for Milk, Dairy Products and Spreadable Fats; \u2018On Approval of Hygienic Requirements for Reducing Acrylamide Levels in Foodstuffs\u2019<\/a>; the draft law \u2018On Reducing the Environmental Impact of Plastic Products\u2019; and the draft Cabinet of Ministers resolution \u2018On Amendments to the Procedures Approved by Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 473 of 19 April 2022 and No. 1073 of 27 September 2022\u2019.<\/p>\n

The participants also discussed trans fats in dairy products, food contact materials, sampling procedures, the current situation in the dairy sector, energy-related challenges and other issues affecting the industry. The meeting concluded with a discussion of organisational matters relating to the Committee\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n
