KGaA on obtaining merger clearance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in connection with its acquisition of SABIC\u2019s Engineering Thermoplastics (ETP) business in the Americas and Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With an enterprise value of <strong>USD 450 million<\/strong>, the transaction is the largest acquisition in Mutares\u2019 history. It involves an international business with eight production sites, approximately <strong>2,900 employees<\/strong>, and annual revenues of around <strong>USD 2.5 billion<\/strong>. The acquisition was completed on 4 August 2026, with the business operating under the new name NexPoint Materials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The multijurisdictional transaction involved regulatory assessments and filing requirements across approximately 20 jurisdictions.
