It has become part of how organisations decide, serve, operate, compete, and grow. It\u2019s whether AI will scale deliberately, responsibly, and profitably, or whether it will scale faster than the organisation can govern it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Boards should push management to act on five priorities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Focus your bets: Invest in AI that advances strategy, improves outcomes, and creates measurable value.<\/li>\n<li>Name the owners: Assign clear business, technology, data, and risk accountability for every material use case.<\/li>\n<li>Create responsible speed: Let low-risk AI move quickly while applying tougher scrutiny where impact is higher.<\/li>\n<li>Prove trust: Require evidence AI is secure, reliable, compliant, supervised, and performing as intended.<\/li>\n<li>Build resilience now: Prepare for bad outputs, compromised systems, data exposure, vendor disruption, autonomous behaviour, and contested AI-supported decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Progress should be visible through a focused board dashboard showing value, exposure, control health, trust, resilience, and organisational capability. If the board can\u2019t see it, management can\u2019t claim it exists.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Conclusion: Lead AI before AI leads you<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI will keep moving faster than policies, frameworks, and traditional control models. The answer isn\u2019t bureaucracy.
