{"id":767697,"date":"2026-09-01T15:26:57","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T12:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/?p=767697"},"modified":"2026-09-01T17:01:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T14:01:11","slug":"business-climate-note-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/en\/business-climate-note-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Climate Note 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"32\" data-end=\"329\">The European Business Association presents the new edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/ENG_Business-Climate-Note-Ukraine_2026.pdf\"><strong data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"123\">Business Climate Note<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 an analytical overview of the key current challenges facing businesses, together with proposals for addressing them, developed based on the experience and expertise of the Association\u2019s member companies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"670\">As one of the largest business associations in Ukraine, the European Business Association regularly monitors the state of the business climate, investment sentiment and the key needs of companies. This document draws on the findings of surveys, analytical research and the practical experience of EBA member companies operating in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"764\">The recommendations set out in the document are structured around five strategic priorities:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"2009\">\n<li data-section-id=\"e0xpbz\" data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"1059\"><strong data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"818\">Strengthening institutions and the rule of law<\/strong> through judicial reform, improving the practices of law enforcement agencies, strengthening the protection of property and corporate rights, ensuring a transparent sanctions policy, and enhancing the effectiveness of managing seized assets.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ipw90h\" data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1291\"><strong data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1111\">Creating a predictable investment environment<\/strong> by expanding access to finance, developing war risk insurance mechanisms, ensuring tax policy stability, simplifying customs procedures, and reducing excessive regulatory burdens.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"179gnzl\" data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1551\"><strong data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1346\">Supporting economic recovery and competitiveness<\/strong> through reforms in the energy, transport, infrastructure, technical regulation, environmental policy and digital public services sectors, creating better conditions for business operations and investment.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"hnqcj9\" data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1780\"><strong data-start=\"1554\" data-end=\"1593\">Addressing human capital challenges<\/strong> by tackling labour shortages, modernising labour market policy, increasing workforce mobility, supporting pension reform, and expanding opportunities for professional skills development.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"5i25p1\" data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"2009\"><strong data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1817\">Advancing European integration<\/strong> through the systematic alignment of Ukrainian legislation with the EU acquis in key areas, facilitating the deeper integration of Ukrainian businesses into the European Union\u2019s Single Market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2503\">In addition to horizontal reforms, the document contains sector-specific recommendations for healthcare, clinical research, veterinary medicine, energy, logistics, environmental policy, agriculture, industry, retail, the extractive sector, technical regulation and other areas of the economy. Taken together, the proposed measures are designed to remove barriers to investment, strengthen economic resilience, and support Ukraine\u2019s successful recovery and integration into the European Union.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2505\" data-end=\"2802\">The <strong data-start=\"2509\" data-end=\"2534\">Business Climate Note<\/strong> reflects the consolidated position of European Business Association member companies and provides a practical roadmap for reforms that can strengthen Ukraine\u2019s investment attractiveness, accelerate economic recovery, and support sustainable long-term economic growth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2804\" data-end=\"3083\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">We hope that the recommendations set out in the document will be useful to public authorities, international partners and the business community in shaping policies aimed at improving the business environment, stimulating investment, and accelerating Ukraine\u2019s economic recovery.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Business Association presents the new edition of the Business Climate Note \u2014 an analytical overview of the key current challenges facing businesses, together with proposals for addressing them, developed based on the experience and expertise of the Association\u2019s member companies.
