\ud83d\udd0c Energy as a strategic priority for business On 4 February, the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association hosted a meeting of company directors focused on how businesses are adapting to electricity supply constraints and developing sustainable energy solutions.<\/p>\n
Many companies have already restructured or are in the process of restructuring their energy infrastructure. Energy autonomy is no longer a temporary crisis response but a strategic prerequisite for business continuity.<\/p>\n
The discussion covered practical solutions already in use, including generators, electricity imports as the most stable albeit costly option, and systemic challenges such as consumption caps that limit planning and predictability.<\/p>\n
Participants highlighted hybrid autonomous systems combining different energy sources, including solutions financed through bank lending, as one of the most promising directions for medium and large businesses.<\/p>\n
\u27a1\ufe0f The key takeaway is clear. For businesses today, predictability and continuity of supply matter more than price alone.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udccc On 11 February, we will continue the discussion with a focus on financing energy solutions. Grant programmes, donor support and bank financing opportunities available to businesses will be at the centre of the conversation.<\/p>\n
