In the first five months of 2026, the market had already exceeded USD 1 billion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aequo, together with Forbes Ukraine, has prepared Battle-Tested Investments, a study analysing Ukraine\u2019s M&amp;A market in 2025\u20132026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The report examines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the largest transactions and key investment trends;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the sectors attracting the most capital;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the role of Ukrainian and international investors;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the development of M&amp;A in the defence sector;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the key regulatory and structural challenges facing investors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Particular attention is given to the legal architecture of wartime transactions. The war has changed not only investors\u2019 attitudes towards risk but also the structure of transactions themselves, including approaches to deal structuring, investment protection mechanisms, corporate control arrangements and the allocation of risks between the parties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study\u2019s key conclusion is that the war has not stopped investment activity in Ukraine.
