events@eba.com.ua<\/a>.<\/p>\nAs announced during the meeting, a simplified application procedure will remain in place until 10 August<\/strong> for companies whose eligibility criteria for obtaining critical enterprise status have not changed. Applications submitted under this procedure will be processed by 15 August<\/strong>. Between 15 August and 1 September<\/strong>, companies that meet the established requirements and have submitted the necessary documents will receive renewed critical enterprise status under the updated rules. At the same time, the validity period of the status will be aligned with the period the company would have been entitled to under the previous regulations.<\/p>\nParticipants also discussed planned updates to the Diia portal<\/strong>. By September, the functionality is expected to be expanded to allow companies to view information on employees included in their reservation quota, including part-time employees and mobilised personnel, who are also taken into account when calculating the quota. These digital improvements will help businesses manage and monitor their reservation quotas more effectively, reducing the risk of exceeding the permitted threshold, which could otherwise result in the loss of critical enterprise status.<\/p>\nRegarding the ongoing reorganisation of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, government representatives assured participants that the process should not lead to additional delays in the review of applications. As the reorganisation is expected to continue until approximately September, the relevant functions, including those related to determining critical enterprise status, will continue to be carried out without interruption.<\/p>\n
The Association notes that the period leading up to 1 September<\/strong> will be crucial for assessing the practical implementation of the updated procedures for granting critical enterprise status and reserving employees liable for military service. It will demonstrate how effectively the new system operates and whether it will ensure business continuity for companies that meet the established criteria.<\/p>\nThe European Business Association remains in continuous dialogue with government authorities on these issues. The Association extends its gratitude to Serhii Smetanko (Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine), Vitalii Murafa (Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine), Viktoriia Snytko (Ministry of Defence of Ukraine), and Oleksandr Maletskyi and Olena Bondarenko (Pension Fund of Ukraine) for their participation.<\/p>\n
