In this regard, the business community and state authorities continue their joint efforts to develop a well-grounded Ukrainian position in dialogue with European partners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"822\">The Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee of the European Business Association has prepared updated analytical data on the impact of the full implementation of the CBAM mechanism on Ukrainian exporters for the first quarter of 2026 at the request of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"824\" data-end=\"1089\">According to the Ministry, the materials provided by the business community will be used to shape Ukraine\u2019s negotiating position in discussions with the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Commission<\/span><\/span> regarding the future application of the CBAM mechanism to Ukrainian goods.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1579\">The Ministry also confirmed its support for the business community\u2019s initiative to apply special CBAM conditions for Ukraine in accordance with Article 30(7) of Regulation (EU) 2023\/956, taking into account the consequences of the war for the Ukrainian economy and industry. <strong>In particular, this concerns the need to recognise the unprecedented challenges faced by Ukrainian producers and exporters during the full-scale war, including the possible application of force majeure provisions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1872\">Separately, the Ministry announced its intention to continue promoting the issue of a special approach towards Ukraine during consultations with the European Commission, as well as to consider the possibility of ensuring Ukrainian enterprises\u2019 access to European Union decarbonisation funds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"2262\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Association expresses its gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for the constructive dialogue, support for Ukrainian business, and consistent position in defending national economic interests.
