Participants discussed key challenges facing the industry, draft regulatory acts, and the necessary steps to protect business interests.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"367\" data-end=\"563\">The meeting was chaired by the newly appointed Head of the Committee, Iryna Suprun, Founder and CEO of the Geological Investment Group. She assumed leadership of the Subsoil Use Committee in 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"623\">During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"998\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1njtdgp\" data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"705\">current draft regulatory and legislative acts and their impact on the market;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1uxp70e\" data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"778\">the implementation of unscheduled state geological control measures;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1v7t1ep\" data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"891\">implications for subsoil users in the event of a reorganisation of the State Service of Geology and Subsoil;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1tpgnqp\" data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"998\">the need to introduce legislative amendments aimed at deregulation and improving the investment climate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1162\">The Association expresses its gratitude to the participants for their active engagement and willingness to work together towards improving the subsoil use sector.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 3 April, the Subsoil Use Committee of the European Business Association held its first meeting of 2026.
