This time, participants had the opportunity to engage with the editorial teams of The Page and SPEKA<\/strong>, as well as representatives of the Digital Economy<\/strong> media group, which includes these outlets.<\/p>\nOleksii Baturin, Editor-in-Chief of The Page<\/strong>, spoke about the work of the publication, which currently ranks second among business media in Ukraine. The Page\u2019s core audience includes entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and the economically active segment of society at large. He emphasised that journalism is not PR; however, the editorial team is always open to engaging stories, research, and expert insights worth sharing with a wider audience.<\/p>\nKey recommendations for cooperation with The Page include a focus on real-life stories, practical expertise, and clear, accessible presentation of materials.<\/p>\n
Denys Verhun, Editor-in-Chief of SPEKA<\/strong>, shared insights into the platform\u2019s operations. In addition to editorial content, SPEKA is developing a UGC platform where experts can independently publish their own case studies. The outlet prioritises open communication with its audience, avoiding unnecessary pathos and clich\u00e9s.<\/p>\nAccording to the speaker, readers are most interested in practical business experience, impactful figures, personal stories, and solutions that have (or have not) worked. The platform enables businesses to gain media visibility without additional budgets, strengthen audience trust, develop personal brands, and build a direct communication channel with readers.<\/p>\n
Vitalii Novak, COO of the Digital Economy media group<\/strong>, shared the group\u2019s strategic vision and explained the rationale behind the acquisition of ITC, MC.today, and Highload. The combined traffic of the five media outlets now exceeds 8.5 million users per month (up from 3 million previously), giving the group approximately 12% of the market.<\/p>\nHe also outlined the benefits of media consolidation, including streamlined business processes, a unified news desk, a shared sales house, common technological solutions, and a single staff training system \u2014 all of which reduce costs while increasing influence and reach.<\/p>\n
