The changes, inter alia, introduced the possibility of using the 5945\u20136425 MHz frequency band for broadband wireless access, which is an important step for the development of modern wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 6E, and was supported by the EBA.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"1213\">At the same time, experts of the Association\u2019s Consumer Electronics Committee identified a number of technical inaccuracies in the Plan. In particular, for the 5945\u20136425 MHz frequency band, the standard ETSI EN 302 687 was indicated, which in fact does not exist. In accordance with ECC\/DEC\/(20)01 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021\/1067, the applicable standard should be ETSI EN 303 687. In addition, the Plan did not reference ETSI EN 300 440 for the 5725\u20135850 MHz frequency band, which is used for certain types of radio equipment. Such inaccuracies could have created regulatory obstacles to the placing of relevant equipment on the Ukrainian market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1441\">In order to address these issues, the Association\u2019s Committee submitted an official appeal to the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> and the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and Postal Services<\/span><\/span>. In its appeal, the Association proposed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1441\">replace ETSI EN 302 687 with ETSI EN 303 687 for the 5945\u20136425 MHz frequency band in line with European regulatory acts;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1441\">include ETSI EN 300 440 in the list of applicable standards for the 5725\u20135850 MHz frequency band.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1904\"><strong>On 25 February 2026, the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> adopted <a href=\"https:\/\/eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kmu.gov.ua%2Fnpas%2Fpro-vnesennia-zmin-do-rozdilu-2-planu-rozpodilu-i-korystuvannia-radiochastotnym-s262250226&amp;data=05%7C02%7CValeriia.Diachok%40eba.com.ua%7C33c2ef66970a4c22448308de79f6929f%7C92456a16661b498eadd5e224c7dd6afa%7C0%7C0%7C639082297084531312%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=ss6BxYaFP2ju3UtRm3LafIz2JvzvDyu%2B6aCwpsVEmXI%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Resolution No. 262<\/a> \u201cOn Amendments to Section 2 of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Allocation and Use Plan in Ukraine\u201d, taking into account the Association\u2019s proposals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2188\">The adopted amendments will facilitate the harmonisation of Ukrainian regulation with European legislation and create more favourable conditions for the use of modern wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi 6E, as well as for the supply of relevant equipment to the Ukrainian market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2190\" data-end=\"2484\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Business Association<\/span><\/span> is grateful to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, and other relevant authorities for taking business positions into account and for maintaining a constructive dialogue.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In August 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 976 \u201cOn Amendments to the Radio Frequency Spectrum Allocation and Use Plan in Ukraine\u201d.
