While such an ecosystem can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdo.ua\/en-gb\/insights-1\/information-materials\/2025\/overcoming-risks-third-party-engagement-strategies-management\">accelerate innovation<\/a>, it also amplifies risks. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/assets-eur.mkt.dynamics.com\/3eab0c73-204f-4352-9ec3-127b2395ab75\/digitalassets\/standaloneforms\/42b8934c-d2ca-f011-bbd3-000d3abf14e0\">International Data Corporation (IDC)<\/a>, almost a third of companies recognise third-party risk management as one of the weakest areas of their operations. This creates additional threats that, in many cases, could have been avoided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why are third-party risks increasing?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Growing interdependence: Each new partner represents an additional \u201centry point\u201d into your organisation.
