Ilyashev & Partners\u2019 International Trade team, under the supervision of Partner Olena Omelchenko,<\/strong> initiated the reconsideration by the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) of definitive anti-dumping measures on imports to Ukraine of seamless stainless steel pipes originating in the People\u2019s Republic of China due to the expiration of the current anti-dumping measures.<\/p>\n

Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm represents the interests of one of Europe\u2019s largest specialized Ukrainian manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes \u2013 PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Ilyashev & Partners\u2019 International Trade team has collected and submitted sufficient evidence to the Commission that Chinese manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes have sufficient export potential, which indicates the likelihood of a significant increase in the volume of dumped exports to the Ukrainian market. Based on the results of considering the complaint of the national producer, the ICIT adopted a decision to review the definitive anti-dumping measures, aiming to support fair competition on the Ukrainian market, which took effect on December 20, 2025.<\/p>\n

For the first time within the framework of such a review of anti-dumping measures, Ilyashev & Partners\u2019 International Trade team also succeeded in initiating a review of the voluntary price undertaking of the foreign producer Longda Steel Group Co., Ltd, which exempts it from the application of the definitive anti-dumping measures.<\/p>\n

Thus, the anti-dumping measures for Chinese manufacturers at the rate of 41.07%, imposed by the ICIT\u2019s decision dated November 27, 2014, No. AD-326\/2014\/4421-06, regarding imports of seamless stainless steel pipes originating in China into Ukraine, have been extended until the Commission adopts a new decision based on the results of the review.<\/p>\n
