INGO Insurance Company has paid UAH 9.46 million under the property insurance contract of LLC \u201cAutomobile Company SERVICEAVTOTRADING,\u201d which services the NOVUS distribution center in Kyiv.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
The modern logistics complex, covering 40,000 sq. m and commissioned in 2023, sustained damage in July 2025 as a result of an air attack carried out by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. The powerful blast wave caused damage to external structures, finishing elements, engineering systems, and the rooftop solar power plant. <\/span>No fatalities or injuries were reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
\u201cFollowing the initial inspection, we identified deformations of the external sandwich panels and the destruction of joint elements,\u201d<\/em> said Oleksandr Kolpakov, Head of the Property Loss Adjustment Department at INGO Insurance Company<\/strong>. \u201cDuring a subsequent assessment conducted together with the contractor responsible for the restoration work, hidden damage to the internal layers of the panels was discovered. Such defects are not always visible externally, yet they indicate a loss of load-bearing capacity and thermal insulation performance, rendering the structures unfit for further operation. Detecting such nuances is crucial for accurately determining the extent of damage and ensuring full restoration of the facility,\u201d<\/em> the expert added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
During both contract placement and loss settlement, the interests of the insured were represented by the insurance broker LLC \u201cAston Ukraine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
