The Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a partner of the competition, has become an innovative platform for the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Court on the palm<\/strong>, an analytical tool for search, analysis and visualization of lawsuits was announced the winner and awarded a prize of $20,000.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the expert jury distinguished three finalists in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Law \u2013 \u0410nalyst Judicial Practice <\/strong>\u2013 court decisions analytics by key phrases;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tech \u2013 Epistemics <\/strong>\u2013 due diligence solution to speed up lawyers\u2019 interaction with legal entities;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Love\u2013 PatentBot <\/strong>\u2013 chatbot assisting in filing online trademark applications with Ukrpatent (Ukrainian patent authority).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following projects were also short-listed for the finals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bright Advise<\/strong> \u2013 online legal advice;<\/li>\n<li><strong>CaseBox<\/strong> \u2013 effective litigation solutions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>File Case <\/strong>\u2013 a platform to submit administrative or small money claims online, without the physical assistance of a lawyer;<\/li>\n<li><strong>LabelMe<\/strong> \u2013 service for automatic verifying, analyzing and labelling products;<\/li>\n<li><strong>LegalCab<\/strong> \u2013 mobile market place and operator for lawyers and their clients;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitor estate<\/strong> \u2013 automatic identification of legal risks when buying real estate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cOur congratulations to the winners and the finalists of AEQUO Legal Tech Challenge 2017, the first-ever competition for innovations in legal business.
