of Ukraine \u201cOn Lobbying\u201d came into force, a significant step in shaping transparent, European-style rules for interaction between business and government.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"459\">Just two days later, on 3 September, the <strong>first meeting of the EBA Lobbying and Transparent Policies Committee <\/strong>took place under the new framework.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"726\">During the meeting, member companies shared their experience regarding:<br data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"535\" \/><br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 registration in the Transparency Register,<br data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"583\" \/><br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 preparing draft reports on meetings with lobbying targets,<br data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"647\" \/><br \/>\n\ud83d\udd39 analysing legislative changes and the potential postponement of sanctions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"956\">In addition, the Committee summarised the key results of its work over the past year \u2014 from contributing to the drafting of legislation and launching the Transparency Register to close cooperation with the NACP and Parliament.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"1346\">Participants also outlined strategic objectives for the future, including:<br data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1035\" \/><br \/>\n\u2714\ufe0f promoting necessary legislative changes,<br data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1081\" \/><br \/>\n\u2714\ufe0f supporting businesses in adapting to the new law\u2019s requirements,<br data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1151\" \/><br \/>\n\u2714\ufe0f regular engagement with the NACP to develop clarifications,<br data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1216\" \/><br \/>\n\u2714\ufe0f strengthening the Committee\u2019s role as a knowledge hub on lobbying,<br data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1288\" \/><br \/>\n\u2714\ufe0f shaping a positive perception of lobbying in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1348\" data-end=\"1543\">\ud83d\udc49 To support companies during the transition period, Committee experts have prepared <strong>practical recommendations for businesses<\/strong> on complying with the Law.
