The project united startups, technology companies, and innovators. It\u2019s simple: state institutions formulate their digital demands, and technology partners propose innovative solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program\u2019s launch was presented by <strong>Kateryna Frolova<\/strong>, Head of Innovation Gateway at GGTC Kyiv, with the participation of <strong>Oleksandr Tsybort<\/strong> (CDTO of the Ministry of Economy) and <strong>Roman Lanskyi<\/strong> (Strimko Ukraine). This took place during the international event \u00abThe Reimagined State: Practical Paths to Digital Solutions\u00bb, organized by GGTC Kyiv in cooperation with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event gathered over 50 digital innovators, policymakers, and international experts who discussed how digital technologies can help build an effective, inclusive, and human-centric state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Victor Liakh, President of the East Europe Foundation<\/strong>, opened the event with a welcoming speech: <em>\u00abAt the East Europe Foundation, we are convinced that digital transformation only makes sense when it changes people\u2019s lives for the better. That is why we support initiatives based on the real needs of citizens. GovTech Lab UA is an excellent example of how partnership between the state, technology business, and international donors works towards results.\u00bb<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event opened with a public discussion in which Ukrainian and international innovators reflected on how to transform public administration in the digital age. The focus was on creating services around citizens\u2019 needs and adapting technologies to today\u2019s challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the speakers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Valeriia Ionan<\/strong>, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister \u2013 Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, shared her vision for the development of a digital state.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Emily Stanger Sfaile<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, presented international experience in digital transformations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Volodymyr Brusylovskyi<\/strong>, Project Manager at UNDP, spoke about approaches to creating citizen-oriented services.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was moderated by <strong>Zoya Lytvyn, Head of GGTC Kyiv<\/strong>: \u00abIn a world characterized by conflicts, large-scale challenges, and rapid technological changes, innovation is not a choice, but a necessity. GovTech Lab UA is more than a program; it\u2019s a new way of thinking about creating state innovations. We are opening the door for true cooperation between the government and the technology ecosystem to solve existing challenges.
