The respective decision was made on July 25, 2025, by the Committee on Supervision and Regulation of Nonbank Financial Services Markets of the National Bank of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the updated license, UNIQA Life is now authorized to operate under the following insurance classes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <strong>Class 1<\/strong> \u2013 accident insurance (including coverage for occupational injuries and occupational diseases);<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2022 <strong>Class 2<\/strong> \u2013 health insurance (including medical insurance).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This extension allows us to better respond to the needs of the Ukrainian market by expanding the range of insurance products for both individuals and legal entities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of the first quarter of 2025, 56% of UNIQA\u2019s insurance portfolio was formed by other risk insurance, while 44% consisted of traditional life savings insurance. During the reporting period, the company collected <strong>UAH 85.3 million<\/strong> in insurance premiums, and its insurance reserves amounted to over <strong>UAH 1 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNIQA also recorded a significant increase in insurance payouts: in Q1 2025, total payouts grew by <strong>168%<\/strong>compared to the same period last year. Notably, <strong>89%<\/strong> of these payments were made under traditional life insurance policies.
