His candidacy was approved by the Supervisory Board and confirmed by the National Bank of Ukraine in accordance with established procedures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This appointment marks the next step in the company\u2019s ongoing efforts to separate strategic and executive functions. As part of this transition, longtime INGO leader Igor Gordiyenko joined the company\u2019s Supervisory Board in April.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andriy Semchenko brings many years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in corporate insurance, underwriting, reinsurance, and claims settlement. At INGO, he has held a number of key positions \u2014 ranging from international business development to leading underwriting and corporate operations. His responsibilities have included overseeing technical and operational processes, and managing partnerships with banks, brokers, reinsurers, and international partners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cIt\u2019s important to me to preserve the qualities that have made INGO a strong company: sound decision-making, technical expertise, professional ethics, and respect for the client,\u201d<\/em> said Andriy Semchenko. <em>\u201cAt the same time, I firmly believe that the company\u2019s future growth requires a fresh strategic focus.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andriy Semchenko emphasized that the company remains committed to stable, profitable growth, a balanced underwriting policy, and full compliance with regulatory requirements. INGO will continue to strengthen its international partnerships and participate in complex insurance programs for large businesses, including those involving military risk coverage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cCorporate business will always be our core strength,\u201d<\/em> Semchenko noted. <em>\u201cWe operate where others often hesitate \u2014 working with large facilities, complex engineering risks, liability exposures, and non-standard scenarios. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, INGO was among the first companies to introduce war risk insurance for individual property and to offer effective insurance solutions for businesses. We will continue to grow this expertise, particularly through cooperation with reinsurance partners, financial institutions, and international donors. It\u2019s also crucial that we stay on course with our digital transformation strategy and continue introducing innovations.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking ahead, INGO aims to maintain its leadership in the corporate insurance sector while accelerating the development of its retail segment. According to the company\u2019s strategy, by 2027, INGO plans to increase the share of the retail business to 40%.
