Key criteria include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company is strategically important for the economy or national defense;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It operates in a key industry (e.g. energy, defense, telecommunications, transport, healthcare);<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volume of taxes paid to the budget;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Number of employees;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Presence of mobilization tasks;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Export activity (in certain cases).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In most cases, a company must meet at least three criteria to qualify for this status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Document Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company must compile a package of documents, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Justification for obtaining the status;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A certificate of core business activities;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financial indicators;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information about the number of employees;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents confirming strategic importance (e.g. contracts, certificates, mobilization tasks);<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A formal request letter addressed to the relevant authority (ministry, regional\/military administration, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3) Submission of Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Documents may be submitted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the relevant central executive body, if the company is supervised by a ministry (e.g. Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Health, etc.);<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or through the regional military administration at the company\u2019s place of registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4) Review and Decision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competent authority reviews the application and, in case of a positive decision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company is added to the list of critically important enterprises;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This grants the company the right to defer up to 50% of its military-liable employees from mobilization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Important Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Requirements regarding the procedure for deferring employees, company status, and eligibility criteria are subject to frequent updates.
