<\/span>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\nOn May 14, 2025, an open meeting was held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Svitlana Hrynchuk<\/strong>, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, her deputies, and representatives of the business community. The topic of the meeting was: \u201cReforming Ukraine\u2019s Environmental Sector on the Path to the EU: What Should Business Expect?\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\nMembers of the European Business Association\u2019s Committee on Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development participated in the event.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, key environmental policy issues with significant impact on business operations were discussed. In particular, participants raised topics such as the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the development and implementation of climate policy, the advancement of the waste management system, alignment of technical regulations with REACH and CLP requirements, and matters related to industrial pollution.<\/p>\n
