Which technology areas were most popular in 2024, which will remain relevant in 2025, and which countries import Ukrainian solutions the most? GlobalLogic, one of the largest exporters of IT services in 2024, shares its conclusions and forecasts.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IT remains the largest exporter of services and the second largest exporter in general: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bank.gov.ua\/ua\/statistic\/sector-external\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">according to the National Bank<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in 2024, exports of IT services brought $6.45 billion to the Ukrainian economy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDespite the challenges and the overall decline in IT services exports in 2024, we continue to actively pursue our projects and maintain productivity at the pre-war level. In particular, we expect new projects due to the growing demand from Japan and the potential that this market has for Ukrainian developments,\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">comments <strong>Andrii Yavorsky, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Technology, GlobalLogic<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>top technologies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in exports of services in 2024 are AI, analytics, cybersecurity, and embedded technologies. <\/span><b>Top industries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the largest share of exports in 2024: automotive, healthcare, media, and industrial. The <\/span><b>top countries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in terms of exports in 2024 are the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, and Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2025, the demand for AI development is still relevant. According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.idc.com\/getdoc.jsp?containerId=prUS52530724\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IDC Research<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, companies&#8217; investments in AI solutions and their integration will only grow until 2028. That is why VelocityAI and GenAI Platform of Platforms, GlobalLogic\u2019s AI solutions for business, remain the focus projects for the company. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn 2025, we plan to expand the range of partners for these platforms and increase our own &#8216;capacities&#8217;: both the team and expertise. That is why we place special emphasis on internal training of specialists. As before, we will continue to support Ukraine&#8217;s economy,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> says Andrii Yavorsky.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the company&#8217;s forecasts, the list of the largest importing countries of Ukrainian solutions will remain unchanged in 2025. Further growth in demand from Japan is expected: GlobalLogic has already attracted <\/span><b>more than 170 projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the country, in particular through cooperation with its parent company Hitachi. Among them, the largest share is occupied by industrial projects, healthcare, and telecommunications.
