The event will take place in multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Germany, France, Sweden, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The goal of this race is to raise funds for Ukrainian children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. 100% of the registration fees will go directly to support the Fund\u2019s assistance programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants can choose between two distances \u2013 5 km or 10 km. All runners will receive bib numbers at the start and will be awarded special honorary medals created for this occasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The registration fee starts at \u20ac30 ($40) for individuals and \u20ac60 ($80) per person for teams of 5 to 50 people (which includes branded t-shirts and medals). Participants are welcome to donate more if they wish. To join the race, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenheroes.nl\/en\/run-for-children-of-heroes-2025\/\">the dedicated registration page<\/a> and select your city. <strong>Be sure to complete your registration by May 20.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Not planning to run? <\/strong>You can still contribute by joining online. Support one of our virtual Bear Crews \u2013 Plush, Jelly, or Choco \u2013 by making a donation. Each $1 will add a symbolic kilometre to your crew\u2019s total and help Ukrainian children. Also, consider sharing information about the event on social media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Children of Heroes Charity Fund provides long-term support to more than 12,500 children who have lost one or both parents in the war. Its assistance programs include psychological rehabilitation, medical care, humanitarian aid, and educational support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On February 23, 2025, the Fund hosted <a href=\"https:\/\/childrenheroes.org\/en\/charity-heroes-run-2025\/\">Heroes Run 2025.<\/a> The running event united over 400 participants across nine cities worldwide and raised more than \u20ac17,000 to support Ukrainian children.
