On April 4, during the meeting of the \u201cGovernment-Business Dialogue\u201d platform chaired by Yevhen Ivanov<\/strong>, Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, a key issue was raised \u2014 the creation of preferential conditions for the Slobozhanshchyna region.<\/p>\n Ihor Balaka<\/strong>, Head of the EBA Kharkiv Coordination Council, presented the Association\u2019s proposals to support frontline regions, with a specific focus on Kharkiv region.<\/p>\n Iryna Tretiak<\/strong>, Head of Domestic Tax Practice at Crowe Mikhailenko<\/strong>, and Anna Chaika,<\/strong>\u00a0Business Element<\/strong>, together with colleagues, once again emphasized that business conditions in western Ukraine and those in Kharkiv and the region cannot be compared.<\/p>\n To ensure survival and encourage the return of businesses and professionals to frontline regions, the following measures were proposed:<\/p>\n Reduce the military levy to 1.5%<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Lower the Unified Social Contribution for employers to 10%<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Introduce a 0% land and property tax rate for at least one fiscal year plus six additional months to enable proper tax planning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Participants noted that for large businesses, returning to Kharkiv remains a complex issue. However, joint efforts are needed to establish a preferential regime for small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\n On a positive note, the Kharkiv Regional Tax Office is actively conducting outreach to taxpayers regarding re-registration of tax invoices.
