Last year, Maria was Co-Chair of the EBA Human Resources Management Committee. She actively collaborated with the European Business Association (EBA), particularly within the HR Committee, participating in discussions and implementing modern HR approaches. She conducted and presented a study on labor market inclusivity in Ukraine with the EBA, analyzing challenges and opportunities for engaging vulnerable population groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maria was also a speaker at an EBA webinar dedicated to the employment specifics of \u201cblue-collar\u201d workers. She shared up-to-date insights on trends in this segment and provided businesses with practical recommendations for effective hiring. She moderated events focused on addressing labor shortages and presenting effective strategies for businesses. Overall, her work is aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for job seekers and supporting companies in implementing inclusive practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

She will continue to develop this direction in 2025. Additionally, she will focus on the issue of labor market shortages of qualified workers in the \u201cblue-collar\u201d segment \u2014 employees engaged primarily in physical labor. Her priorities include raising the prestige of this category and enhancing the state\u2019s involvement in resolving the labor market crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am grateful for the trust and support \u2014 it is a great honor for me to lead the HR Committee of the European Business Association in 2025. The committee\u2019s activities are the result of joint efforts, and the contribution of each board member is equally important in achieving our goals. It is also a great responsibility to continue working with my colleagues on the HR Committee board to address key labor market issues in 2025.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Last year proved that inclusivity in employment is not just a trend but a necessity for labor market development.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

At the same time, in 2025, we also intend to focus on other pressing challenges: helping to overcome labor shortages, supporting retraining and personnel development programs, and implementing modern HR approaches that will contribute to the effective operation of businesses in new realities.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

I believe that through the joint efforts of businesses, the state, and society, we can create a more sustainable and balanced labor market in Ukraine,\u201d<\/span><\/i> noted Maria Abdullina.<\/b><\/p>\n
