<\/span>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\nOn January 31, 2025, the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office together with member-companies visited the pharmaceutical plant InterChem – one of the leading domestic manufacturers of both finished medicines and active pharmaceutical ingredients, which is among the TOP-10 national manufacturers in terms of sales of medicines.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mr. Igor Stelmakh, Production Director of InterChem, conducted a tour and explained in detail how substances are obtained, how they are processed, how modern equipment forms tablets, presses them to the required consistency, covers them with a shell and packs them in blisters. The participants of the event had a unique opportunity to personally see the production facilities of the enterprise and the process of creating medicines – from tablets and capsule preparations to the very popular antiviral sachet “Amicitron”.\u00a0<\/p>\n
One of the most interesting moments of the visit was the demonstration of a unique pneumatic mail. \u00a0This is a high-tech system that allows for the rapid transportation of drug samples throughout the enterprise, significantly accelerating production processes and increasing staff efficiency.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In addition, the guests visited laboratories where drugs are developed. There the participants learned how the composition of drugs is studied, how their properties are tested, and how quality control is carried out. The company’s specialists explained how drugs are tested to assess their effect on the body and effectiveness in further treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0And after a rich and interesting tour the visitors had the opportunity to exchange impressions during a joint lunch. This was an excellent opportunity to discuss prospects for cooperation, current issues in the pharmaceutical industry, and the latest market trends.\u00a0<\/p>\n
