The status of the primary dealer of domestic government bonds provides the exclusive right to participate in bond placements conducted by the Ministry of Finance, both on its own behalf and for individual and legal entities, as well as banks and financial companies that do not have this status.<\/p>\n
For several years in a row, OTP BANK has held a leading position in the rating of primary dealers of domestic government bonds. The Bank’s clients have access to a unique service – the opportunity to buy domestic government bonds directly at the auctions of the Ministry of Finance and at the price from the Ministry of Finance. This option is implemented through the OTP Bank UA mobile app.<\/p>\n
In addition to direct access to auctions, the bank’s clients have the opportunity to purchase securities from OTP BANK’s own portfolio, which is formed taking into account the highest customer demand and has a large volume of offers to choose from.<\/p>\n
According to the results of 2024, the Bank’s individual clients bought domestic government bonds at auctions of the Ministry of Finance for a total amount of UAH 5.9 billion. The volume of sales of bonds from OTP BANK’s own portfolio amounted to almost UAH 1.4 billion since the launch of this service in May 2024. In total, almost 1,000 individual clients used the service to purchase domestic government bonds from their own portfolio via the OTP Bank UA app.<\/p>\n
