Kyiv will become the second city in the world after Berlin to host GovTech Center and 21st Fourth Industrial Revolution Center in the World Economic Forum network. It is a platform to facilitate cooperation between governments, researchers, businessmen, technology companies, and startups. The Center will facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas and GovTech practices and help implement joint successful projects in the public sector.<\/span><\/p>\n According to <\/span>Mykhailo Fedorov<\/b>, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology \u2013 Minister of Digital Transformation, the launch of GGTC Kyiv is a recognition of Ukraine\u2019s progress in digital transformation at the international level.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00abIn 2019, we started building a digital nation with the main idea of creating the most citizen-friendly and convenient state in the world\u00bb, said Mykhailo Fedorov. \u00abThe launch of the Diia app has revolutionized how people interact with the state. Diia has already become a lovemark brand for Ukrainians and is acknowledged as one of the world\u2019s best cases in GovTech. No coincidence that Ukraine became the second country in the world to launch the Global Government Technology Center (GGTC). I am proud that our progress is honored internationally, and I am confident that GGTC Kyiv will become a center of cooperation, innovation, and transformational solutions in digital governance\u00bb.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n At the Center, Ukrainian startups will collaborate with international partners to accelerate digital reforms in the public sector worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00abThe Center in Ukraine will support our global efforts to unleash the tremendous potential of digital technologies to improve public services and create new opportunities\u00bb<\/span><\/i>, said <\/span>Mirek Du\u0161ek<\/b>, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum.<\/span> \u201cIt will catalyze public-private cooperation and foster digital technology and innovation at a critical time for Ukraine and Europe\u00bb<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n GGTC Kyiv, in partnership with the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and GGTC Berlin, will create a platform to facilitate communication and exchange experiences to develop GovTech solutions worldwide.
