Yesterday, companies from the Energy Committee met with representatives of SE \u201cGuaranteed Buyer,\u201d the NEURC, and USAID to discuss matters related to guarantees of origin for electricity in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Experts from Guaranteed Buyer presented their vision of a concept to stimulate the development of the guarantees of origin market, which involves the introduction of a tax mechanism.<\/p>\n
The discussion focused on the potential benefits of tax incentives for the green energy market\u2019s development and the need for further work on the initiative.<\/p>\n
At the same time, it was noted that the process of international recognition of guarantees of origin varies significantly between countries and is challenging to predict in terms of timing. However, efforts should progress simultaneously towards developing mechanisms to stimulate the domestic market and achieve international recognition.<\/p>\n
