On December 9, representatives of the European Business Association met with the Acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Yevhen Sokur. Yevhen announced that starting from December 9, companies would receive information in their electronic taxpayer accounts about their inclusion in the list of high tax trust territories (“white business club”) and the criteria defined for the current period.<\/p>\n
The representative of the State Tax Service emphasized that the primary goal of the announced changes is to enhance the level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation. This is planned to be achieved by identifying and prioritizing risks of tax revenue losses and implementing measures aimed at minimizing them.<\/p>\n
On their part, the \u0415\u0412\u0410’s experts expressed hope that the tax service at all levels would demonstrate high ethical and professional standards in its approach to businesses. This is particularly important for companies that, due to certain circumstances, were not included in the list of companies of high tax credibility. The \u0415\u0412\u0410 emphasized the inadmissibility of unjustified pressure on such companies.<\/p>\n
The \u0415\u0412\u0410’s experts will monitor the implementation of the new approaches in the work of the State Tax Service and inform the relevant authorities and the public about the results of this process.<\/p>\n
This meeting is an important step toward building a dialogue between businesses and tax authorities, aimed at fostering transparent relations between the two sides.<\/p>\n
