Members of the European Business Association\u2019s Committee on Lobbying and Transparent Policies met with Members of Parliament and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, business representatives presented the idea of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the specialised Committee on Legal Policy in the area of lobbying. They also discussed further areas of collaboration, including the promotion of more comprehensive amendments to the Law “On Lobbying.”<\/p>\n
The business community expressed gratitude to the Legal Policy Committee and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for including a provision in Draft Law No. 12000 that postpones the implementation of the Law “On Lobbying” until 1 September 2025.<\/p>\n
We hope that during this extended period, key stakeholders will not only be able to launch the Transparency Register but also work more comprehensively on refining the provisions of the Law “On Lobbying.”<\/p>\n
The EBA\u2019s Committee on Lobbying and Transparent Policies is ready to actively participate in and support state bodies throughout these processes.<\/p>\n
