The event brought together representatives from the agricultural sector, legal experts, lenders, and other professionals to discuss the progress in preparing for the launch of this instrument, which will come into effect under the <em>Law on Agricultural Notes<\/em> on 1 January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the event included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kyrylo Mukhomedzianov<\/strong>, Project Lead, <em>&#8220;Enhancing Access of Ukraine\u2019s Agricultural Sector to Capital Markets&#8221;<\/em>, International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maksym Libanov<\/strong>, Member of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maryna Adamovska<\/strong>, Member of the Board, National Depository of Ukraine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Natalia Shevchenko<\/strong>, Senior Lawyer, EY Ukraine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ihor Chufarov<\/strong>, Partner, EY Ukraine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key topics covered during the discussion included the nature and legal framework of agricultural notes, financing opportunities for agribusinesses, business models, and tax aspects of their application.
