<\/span>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\nOn November 14, representatives of the European Business Association met with Yevhen Sokur, Acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service (STS) of Ukraine, to discuss the STS project “Territory of High Tax Trust.”<\/p>\n
This project aims to simplify tax procedures and introduce services that build trust between businesses and the government. The STS team outlined the project’s benefits, including a moratorium on inspections, shorter VAT refund periods, and the opportunity to access a personal compliance manager. Additionally, the STS highlighted the creation of a dedicated platform “Territory of High Tax Trust,” which will enable businesses to check compliance with criteria, review requirements, and receive personalised consultations.<\/p>\n
The EBA welcomes the STS’s efforts to make tax conditions more business-friendly, as the development of a service-oriented tax authority is key to effective collaboration. We hope these initiatives will be successfully implemented in practice, creating a transparent and predictable environment for entrepreneurship in Ukraine. At the same time, we already see areas for improvement and are ready to provide constructive feedback promptly.<\/p>\n
