It will be implemented in autumn 2024. These innovations will require transport companies to make changes to their booking and passenger registration systems, adapt to new security requirements, and document verification procedures.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:202\">The second is the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), similar to the American ESTA. Authorization through ETIAS will require all citizens to submit an online application before their trip and pay a fee of 7 euros.
