The Ukrainian Red Cross Society is governed by the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Ukrainian Red Cross Society&#8221; and the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Red Cross, Red Crescent, and Red Crystal Symbols in Ukraine&#8221;.<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">According to Ukrainian law and international treaties, the Red Cross Emblem may only be used by the Red Cross Society and its Ukrainian representative offices.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Intellectual Property team at Ilyashev &amp; Partners managed to persuade the infringer to stop using the Red Cross emblem and begin rebranding. In a settlement agreement approved by the Commercial Court of Kyiv City on May 28, 2024, the medical center committed to stop using the Red Cross emblem.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"xmsonormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The case was handled by <\/span><span lang=\"UK\"><a href=\"https:\/\/attorneys.ua\/en\/our-team\/olena-v-sereda\/\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Olena Sereda<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, Attorney at Law, under the supervision of <\/span><span lang=\"UK\"><a href=\"https:\/\/attorneys.ua\/en\/our-team\/ilyashev\/\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Mikhail Ilyashev<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, Managing Partner at Ilyashev &amp; Partners.
