On June 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments to CMU Resolution No. 1137 of October 31, 2023.<\/p>\n

Thus, the validity of declarations submitted by business entities on the conduct of economic activities for waste treatment operations was extended for four calendar months.<\/p>\n

According to the Register of Permits for Waste Treatment Operations, only 23 companies have received such a permit, although thousands of companies across the country potentially need one.<\/p>\n

Thanks to today’s changes, companies have until October 9 to collect all the documents and obtain a permit for waste treatment.<\/p>\n

The EBA appealed to the Ministry of Ecology and the Ministry of Economy with a corresponding request and thanks for supporting business in this difficult time. After all, this permit is one of the conditions for obtaining other permits, such as a license for hazardous waste management, etc.<\/p>\n
