{"id":527394,"date":"2024-01-19T13:01:46","date_gmt":"2024-01-19T11:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/?p=527394"},"modified":"2024-01-19T13:23:43","modified_gmt":"2024-01-19T11:23:43","slug":"medychne-samovryaduvannya-v-ukrayini","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eba.com.ua\/en\/medychne-samovryaduvannya-v-ukrayini\/","title":{"rendered":"[:ua]\u041c\u0435\u0434\u0438\u0447\u043d\u0435 \u0441\u0430\u043c\u043e\u0432\u0440\u044f\u0434\u0443\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f \u0432 \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0456[:en]Medical self-government in Ukraine[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Author: <strong>Yevhen Kisly<\/strong>, Attorney at Dynasty Law &amp; Investment<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medical workers of Ukraine at various levels have been calling for a legislative consolidation of medical self-government in Ukraine for a long time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, on January 8, 2024, draft law No. 10372-1 of January 8, 2024 was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which establishes the status of medical self-government organizations at the legislative level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Article 4 of Draft Law No. 10372-1 defines that medical self-government will be independent of state authorities, local self-government bodies, their officials and employees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Self-governing organizations will have the status of legal entities and must be registered as legal entities in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The self-governing organization of medical workers will have the right to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">be a subject of certification of medical workers;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">issue certificates of certification of medical workers;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will get access to information systems that provide accounting of the achievements of medical workers;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">independently establish criteria and requirements, including for the professional development of employees;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will participate in the work of all commissions, enterprises, institutions, organizations, authorities, courts, which will evaluate the actions of employees certified by them;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">initiate review and approval of standards of medical care, clinical protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such powers of self-governing medical organizations will contribute to the development of the system of professional responsibility of medical workers and help protect the rights and interests of the medical worker and the medical community as a whole.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The adoption of this draft law will provide an opportunity for the development of a medical worker as a free representative of the medical profession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Self-governing medical organizations are traditional for the EU and exist in all European countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The implementation of the model of medical self-governance will allow Ukraine to move away from the Soviet system in the field of medicine and bring the rights and freedoms of medical workers closer to their European counterparts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The results of the activities of medical self-government in Ukraine will be better provision of medical services to the population and will demonstrate the steady movement of the country towards European medical standards.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Author: Yevhen Kisly, Attorney at Dynasty Law &amp; Investment Medical workers of Ukraine at various levels have been calling for a legislative consolidation of medical self-government in Ukraine for a long time.
