The European Business Association is launching the Division of Judicial Defense within the framework of the Business Security and Protection Committee. This division was created to bring together attorneys, lawyers and other professionals to focus on developing proposals for the establishment of the rule of law in the country, improving the quality and efficiency of the judicial system, and ensuring business protection in case of any complexity in various business industries within the framework of judicial protection.<\/p>\n
In particular, the scope of the department’s activities will cover protection of business and its owners in such areas as court and out-of-court dispute resolution, bankruptcy, administrative procedures and appeals, property protection, corporate conflicts, etc.<\/p>\n
Rule of law, efficiency, fairness and transparency, including court proceedings, are extremely important for the country. This is, in fact, the brick in the foundation, the absence of which can contribute to the destruction of the entire building. Therefore, we at the EBA decided to launch this division in order not only to support business and help protect its legitimate interests, but also to develop and submit specific proposals to the authorities on behalf of business on how to move these issues forward. After all, the absence of the rule of law, the difficulty of finding justice in court and out-of-court proceedings, or the duration of such proceedings lasting for years not only negatively affect the already operating business in the country, but also potential investors who are considering options for cooperation or investment in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Therefore, we invite interested companies to join the Division of Judicial Defense to contribute to the development of the rule of law together and systematically.<\/p>\n
