However, the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia crossed out everything and forced to deal with completely different issues.<\/p>\n<p>The work on counteracting the Russian aggression became the UBA\u2019s main priority. The Association focused on strengthening international cooperation, providing legal assistance to Ukrainian businesses and citizens, and supporting fellow lawyers who suffered from the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n<p>But still, at the same time, the team managed to implement many of the plans from the election campaign: the financial independence of the Association was strengthened, the draft Code of Ethics for Legal Business was completed, and cooperation with government agencies was intensified, particularly in the area of human rights protection.<\/p>\n<p>On August 2, 2023, Anna Ogrenchuk&#8217;s two-year term came to an end.
