The Subsoil Use Committee of the European Business Association has launched a new expert research project titled\u00a0<\/span>‘Subsoil Use in the Context of Industry Reform and Development Prospects.’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The year 2022 became turbulent for many companies in the industry due to the full-scale russian invasion and its consequences for subsoil use facilities, the active implementation of industry legislative reforms, and the digitization of permitting processes. Many companies are facing a critical question about the feasibility of investing in subsoil use during the martial law period and resuming operations in areas adjacent to the combat zone and on de-occupied territories. However, the subsoil use sector could become a priority direction for the country’s development during the post-war recovery and one of the most attractive investment sectors in the Ukrainian economy.<\/span><\/p>\n The study was prepared to analyze the current state of subsoil-use companies, assess the investment climate of the industry, as well as identify the main directions and incentives for the sector’s development in the future.
