Yesterday, on November 17, the EBA Security and Business Protection Committee held an event dedicated to the procedure of reserving employees and reviewing practical cases of reservation. The speakers were representatives of Asters Law Firm, namely Development Director Oleksiy Uros and Counsel Anton Sintsov.<\/p>\n
In the first part of the event, we discussed general issues regarding the reservation procedure, filling out documents, ways to establish a military specialty, the possibility of reserving individual entrepreneurs and employees of foreign companies that do not have a legal entity in Ukraine, etc. In addition, the speakers shared the information they received during strategic meetings with the Ministries. Thus, work is underway to determine the criteria for reservations for critical infrastructure enterprises – for them, the procedure will be simplified as much as possible, but it will be allowed to reserve only 40% of employees from the total number of employees liable for military service in the company. It was also reported about the Government’s concerns regarding the launch of the eBusinessTrip and mobilization tasks for certain categories of enterprises.<\/p>\n
The second part of the event was devoted to Q&A, so the participants took the opportunity to ask their questions. Together with the speakers, we analyzed practical cases related to the preparation of a proper package of documents, collecting justifications for reserving a specific employee, obtaining mobilization tasks and their alternatives. Besides, we talked about the terms for reservations to be confirmed and the peculiarities of interaction with government agencies. Thus, on average, a response from the Ministry of Economy can be received in 4 weeks from the date of receipt of the reservation application.<\/p>\n
