Last month, the grain business community of the European Business Association appealed to the UN and the Embassy of Turkey to do everything possible to extend the grain corridor, including the accession of the Mykolaiv seaport hub to this corridor, as well as increasing the number of inspections per day of ships with Ukrainian agricultural products.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Today it was decided to extend the “grain initiative” for 120 days.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the business, we would like to thank all those involved for the opportunity to continue to supply Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea ports and especially to countries suffering from hunger in this difficult time for Ukraine, when the russian federation continues its military aggression on the territory of our country. This is an important step to overcome the food crisis in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The continuation of the grain initiative will obviously contribute to the improvement of the humanitarian situation in Africa and Asia, as well as to counteracting the food shortage in the world and reducing grain prices.<\/p>\n
We also hope for a positive decision on the inclusion of the Mykolaiv sea hub in the grain corridor.<\/p>\n
